Ed Harmon Entrepreneur of the Year

In August of this year Company Founder, Ed Harmon, was recognized as a winner of the Entrepreneur of the Year in Michigan and Northwest Ohio. At the national awards in early November in Palm Springs, Mr. Harmon was recognized in the top 35 in the Country. This award, given by Ernst & Young, is one of the preeminent competitive award programs for entrepreneurs and leaders of high-growth companies. Since its launch, the program has expanded to recognize business leaders in more than 145 cities in over 60 countries around the world.

In addition, NAI Harmon Group broke ground on the Harmon Building at Levis Commons in July. This building will include 80,000 SF of mixed-use space. Restaurants and retail will be on the first floor and office space on the second floor. Given the continued success of their first restaurant, Benchmark, the NAI Harmon Group will be opening Claude’s Prime Seafood in the new space. HangOver Easy, and an undisclosed retail tenant will also be occupying the first floor.

The Harmon Business Park in Rossford, Ohio is growing with the recent signing of a national non-disclosed tenant in the 80,000 SF “Opportunity Building”. This gives a total of 3 businesses in the Business Park, including Capital Tire and Denver Wholesale Florist. Just west, at the Harmon Business Park in Defiance, APackaging Group is moving in to the 80,000 SF “Opportunity Building”, making them the first tenant at the Park. Not only is NAI Harmon Group creating great opportunity here in Northwest Ohio, but they are also expanding their national footprint. In the past twelve months real estate and construction deals have been signed in Dallas, Texas; Albuquerque, New Mexico; Kansas City, Missouri; Columbus, Ohio and Fort Smith, Arkansas.
